Locator® Bar Attachment System Now Available from Zimmer Dental, Inc.

Zimmer Dental Inc., a leading provider of dental oral rehabilitation products and a division of Zimmer Holdings, Inc., is pleased to announce that the Locator® Bar Attachment System is now available. Designed by Zest Anchors, it will provide three options for the fabrication of a resilient attachment for an implant-retained milled titanium bar or cast alloy bar, thereby offering more options when restoring cases for edentulous patients.

The new Locator Bar Attachment System contains the same self-aligning feature, superb retention, long-lasting durability, and low attachment profile as the Locator Attachment System. These same benefits are now available for use when the splinting of implants is required with a bar for added stability.

The three options available for the fabrication of a splinted cast alloy bar or milled titanium bar are to drill and tap, laser weld, and create a custom cast bar. Simply drill and tap into a completed bar and thread the new Locator Bar Female into place for total retrievability, or you can laser weld the new Locator Laser Bar Female onto a bar. In addition, the newly designed Locator Cast-To Bar Female can easily be incorporated into your bar pattern and cast as part of the bar.
