Zimmer Dental Announces Launch
of the Puros® Pericardium Allograft Membrane
in the United States and Canada
 Zimmer Dental Inc., a leading provider of dental oral rehabilitation products and a subsidiary of Zimmer Holdings, Inc., is pleased to announce the availability in the United States and Canada of its new Puros Pericardium Allograft Membrane, a natural biological dressing designed for successful Guided Tissue Regeneration and Guided Bone Regeneration procedures. This is the latest addition to the Puros Allograft family of products.
Puros Pericardium exhibits optimum
strength and adaptability to surface contours. A human pericardium
membrane preserved and sterilized using the proprietary
Tutoplast® process, it retains its natural collagen matrix
and exhibits the unparalleled mechanical properties of native
pericardium. Puros Pericardium offers an excellent healing
environment, acts as a guide for the regeneration of vital tissue*
and provides a long-lasting barrier when optimum strength and
superior handling for graft containment are necessary. It is ideal
in such cases as Puros Block Allograft coverage and large ridge augmentation procedures, where adaptability to surface contours is essential.
