Zimmer® One-Piece Implant Now Available in 4.7mm Diameter
Indications Expanded to Include All Tooth Locations
Zimmer Dental Inc., a leading provider of dental oral rehabilitation products and a subsidiary of Zimmer Holdings, Inc., is pleased to announce the addition of the 4.7mm diameter Zimmer One-Piece Implant in straight and angled versions. Also available in 3.0mm and 3.7mm diameters, the Zimmer One-Piece Implant combines the design features of the renowned Tapered Screw-Vent® Implant with the prepared margins of the Hex-LockTM Contour Abutment – offering a unique one-piece solution for fast, convenient immediate restoration with minimal or no abutment preparation.
The 3.7mm and 4.7mm Zimmer One-Piece Implants are now indicated for all tooth locations, allowing for versatility to choose between a Tapered Screw-Vent Implant or Zimmer One-Piece Implant in a large variety of cases. Because Tapered Screw-Vent and Zimmer One-Piece Implants share a common body design and similar drilling sequence, the clinician may alter their treatment plan between these one-piece and two-piece options at any time during planning or placement.
Zimmer One-Piece Implants are part of the Tapered Screw-Vent Implant System – an integrated family of implants, abutments and copings. The Tapered Screw-Vent Implant System includes the Zimmer One-Piece Implant, the Tapered Screw-Vent and Advent® Implants, and the Hex-Lock Contour Abutment (which includes a variety of caps and copings). The breadth of offerings in the Tapered Screw-Vent system gives the clinician the ability to choose with confidence the right products and procedure for each individual patient.
