DuSER Alliance

Zimmer Dental’s university program, DuSER Alliance, is an acronym for Dedicated to University, Service, Education, and Research. The program encompasses all areas of dental schools and training institutions.

DuSER Alliance is a partnership between dental schools and Zimmer Dental. This comprehensive support program is designed to improve dental student education through dental implant therapy. As dental implants now provide patients with a proven treatment option for the replacement of missing teeth, it's extremely important that all dental students are provided education opportunities to gain experience in this valuable technology.

Dr. Fred A. Bell, an oral surgeon from University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio (UTHSCSA), has been working with Zimmer Dental to implement this unique program. The value is more than just discounted products for teaching students. Dr. Bell and the Zimmer Dental Team offer solutions on how to incorporate dental implant education into an already busy dental curriculum. Dr. Bell has been involved in dental education for over 25 years at both the pre-doctoral and post-doctoral levels. As an Associate Professor and Director of Pre-doctoral Education in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at UTHSCSA, Dr. Bell offers extensive experience in both providing and teaching implant therapy.

This type of educational program is not only academically challenging, it is also very expensive. With Zimmer Dental's new DuSER Alliance program, Dr. Bell believes the dental schools will be provided the comprehensive corporate support required to achieve excellence in dental implant education.
